About us
We’re here for girls who can’t afford pads.
Our story
About Pad4Kaya Girls Foundation
At Pad4Kaya Girls Foundation, we believe that every girl deserves to manage her menstrual health with dignity, confidence, and without barriers. We are a Ghanaian nonprofit organization dedicated to tackling period poverty and empowering vulnerable girls, particularly Kayayei (female head porters), through access to menstrual hygiene products, education, and advocacy.
Our work goes beyond distributing sanitary pads. We provide menstrual health education, promote personal hygiene, and create safe spaces where girls can learn, ask questions, and challenge the stigma surrounding menstruation. By equipping girls with knowledge and essential resources, we help them stay healthy, confident, and focused on building better futures.
We partner with individuals, organizations, and communities to drive sustainable change and ensure that no girl is left behind because of her period. Together, we are creating a future where every girl has the opportunity to thrive with dignity and reach her full potential.
